Harry Styles has been having a pretty good 2017, a year in which he launched his solo career and starred in the smash hit film, Dunkirk, and now he is beginning his solo tour. Starting in San Francisco, Styles sang fourteen songs for the thousands of fans who helped sell out the arena in which he wore a floral suit and was more than happy to wave a Pride flag.
If you’re a bit confused about the concert’s set list, do not fret. While Styles’ debut album only had ten songs (all of which he played in San Francisco), he did allow for four other songs to pepper the event, as well.
For one, he performed an amazing cover version of “The Chain,” a song which many consider to be the absolute best in the entire discography of Fleetwood Mac. He also performed a cover of “Just a Little Bit of Your Heart,” a song he once co-wrote with Ariana Grande.
Surprisingly, for the adoring fans, Styles’ other two musical picks came from the history of his old band, One Direction. He once sang the song “Stockholm Syndrome” on The Today Show and he did so again for the emotional fans in attendance.
He also performed an astonishing solo version of “What Makes You Beautiful,” a song that many feel is the one that deserves the credit for launching One Direction into superstardom in the first place.
