Jennifer Garner, the famous actress who starred in such films as Catch Me If You Can, 13 Going on 30, and Juno, has joined one of the more enjoyable social media platforms. People tend to have a lot of gripes about websites like Facebook and Twitter, but Instagram seems to be fairly universally praised because of what it allows its users to share. After all, it’s hard to get into fights or have any sort of conflict about a beautiful photo of a river or a quaint picture of a breakfast. Add Garner to the list of celebrities who have taken to the app.
Garner also happens to be a mother of three and this was made very apparent thanks to her first post on the platform, which was a video of her writing that summer was almost over, but that is nothing to be sad about because sad backwards spells “das” and, as Garner put it, “das not good.” Oy vey. While her kids might be groaning over her first post, others happen to enjoy the pun, as she amassed over one hundred and twenty thousand followers during her first day on Instagram. Hopefully, there will be more puns to come!
But, of course, Garner is not only using her Instagram and other social media presences to make lame Mom jokes (though, we would not mind if she included more of these in a matter of high volume and frequency). She is also doing her best to spread the word about many charities that are in need as of late, especially because of the effects of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma that have wrought devastation upon Houston, Texas and many other cities in Florida, respectively.
