Recently, Houston and other cities in Texas have been devastated in the wake of one of the worst natural disasters since Hurricane Katrina back in 2005 thanks to Hurricane Harvey. But this newfound discontent and horror that has been thrust upon the cities does not have to be fought alone by the natives of Texas. For example, Houston Texans defensive player J.J. Watt set up a fund for the victims. Houston native Shea Serrano has journeyed to the city to do whatever he can. And Sandra Bullock, among others, is doing her part to help by donating one million dollars for relief efforts.
Bullock is the star of films like Miss Congeniality, Speed, and the movie for which she was nominated for an Oscar, The Blind Side. As for what projects she has lined up in the future, her biggest one is a spin-off of Steven Soderbergh’s very successful Ocean’s trilogy that was centered around heists conducted by teams led by Danny Ocean (George Clooney), Ocean’s Eight. Bullock will be portraying the sister of Danny Ocean in the movie that will see yet another heist unfold. Clooney, in fact, will serve as a producer on the film.
